Katie's Story

Katie is one of those clients who stays with you forever , not just because of what she accomplished, but because of the heart and fight she brought into every session. When she first came to me, she had been told her whole life that certain movements “weren’t possible” for her. With CP, doctors and trainers had repeatedly said deadlifting, squatting, and other foundational strength exercises were off the table.
But I never believed that her limits were set in stone , and neither did she.
Together, we spent countless hours rebuilding movement patterns, strengthening what mattered most, and slowly pushing boundaries that had been placed on her for years. What started as small progressions turned into big victories. Katie not only performed unassisted bodyweight squats, she hit a 100-lb deadlift a milestone that meant far more than just a number on a barbell.
Strength training didn’t just make her stronger in the gym. It made her stronger in life. Her confidence exploded. Her sense of power became real and visible. And in one of her biggest achievements yet, she hiked the Grand Canyon with her parents an experience she once believed was completely out of reach.
Katie is proof that limitations aren’t destiny. With patience, persistence, and the right support, she didn’t just reach her goals , she exceeded them.
And I couldn’t be more proud.
